About Us

Sandys Driving School took over the wheel in late 2019 from Noreen's Road Rules established 20 year old business. Many Elk Rapids community know Sandy Jansen as an active participant in many Elk Rapids Public Schools endeavors, as a bus driver, Cherryland Middle School Lunch/Recess paraprofessional, Band Booster Mom, Elk Rapids Equestrian Team Head Coach and owner/operator of Sandys Driving School as the Drivers Education Instructor.

The teaching style is professional, interactive and fun with defense as well as offense driving techniques adding confidence to driving skills learned throughout the course. The classroom lessons are correlated with the driving lessons for better retention of concepts presented. As an added bonus, the Pink Parent Permit is utilized at this school for legal on the road practice with the parent for the duration of the Segment 1 course.

Sandys Driving Schools main goal is to encourage students to become confident drivers who make good choices leading to habits exhibited by safe drivers for life!
